As part of the annual Short Film Day, short films will be shown at Galleri CC on January 12. The screening was originally intended to take place on December 21 - the day when the winter solstice occurs, a day linked to birth, death and the cycle of life - but was moved forward due to the corona situation in Skåne.The selected films will be projected against the gallery's window, thus able to be viewed from the street.
– Even if the event is outdoors, precautions regarding corona must be considered. Remeber to keep distance from other visitors and stay at home if you experience the slightest symptom. More than eight people are not allowed at the event.
Folkets Bio arranges the Short Film Day with the support of the Swedish Film Institute. The concept Short Film Day takes place December 21. It originated in France in 2011 and is today found in over 20 countries in the northern hemisphere. In Sweden, the Short Film Day started in 2014 and is growing every year.
