Galleri CC proudly presents the four artists selected through its 2026 open call in an exhibition that approaches language, code and signification from different disciplinary perspectives. Through playful associations, alternative forms of communication and explorations of how meaning is produced, their works challenge linear narratives and invite us to experience language beyond its conventional boundaries.
Frederikke Jul Vedelsby (b. Copenhagen, Denmark) works across video, drawing, and writing. Her practice is rooted in an intuitive approach to image-making – whether through the physical act of drawing with handmade oil pastels or the collaborative and spontaneous process of filmmaking.
Karin Lindstén (b. 1994, Linköping, Sweden) works with film, photography, text, sculpture and drawing in spatial compositions. Her work explores the material and technological conditions of the image, moving between representation and matter, image and space.
Ulrika Lublin (b. 1985) is based in Stockholm. Through sculpture, text and collage, Lublin explores the fluidity of materials as they unfold across different temporalities. She searches for and creates surfaces where time and memory are stretched and intermingled, where the edges of words and materials meet.
Laurens Rohlfs (b.1993) is based in Stockholm, whose practice revolves around language and its interplay with form and materiality. As a basis for his work, he collects and compares visual material from the everyday: details, words, and symbols that are usually perceived in the blink of an eye, but which upon slower reading can hold other potential. He works with physical transfers such as casting and printmaking, as ways of transforming the sign in material, scale and pace.
