Lanternorna är vilsna
10/4–10/5 2026

Curator: Ariadna Mangrané
Opening: Friday 10/4 kl. 17:00 – 21:00

In Lanternorna är vilsna, Jenny Käll explores the concept of orientation (bodily, mental, and cosmic), the navigational potential of green and red light, and the symbolic purposes of homemade measuring instruments and tools.

Jenny Käll (b. 1988) lives and works in Örebro and was educated at Konstfack and Umeå Academy of Fine Arts, where she received her MFA in 2018.

Her practice is site- and material-driven, and she works with sculpture and installation, incorporating elements of text and video. Käll’s work explores the human relationship to, and ways of engaging with, materials, other beings, craft, tools, spaces, and landscapes.

Through a responsive process at the boundary between object and body, the figurative and the abstract, the constant and the transient, different states are allowed to merge seamlessly into one another.

Käll has previously exhibited at, among others, Galleri Box, Agueli Museum, Dissolution Gallery (Tbilisi), AVA Gallery (Hong Kong), and Galleri Verkligheten.
