Galleri CC is proudly presents Maria Jacobson, Tania Ezpeleta Dahlin, Jon Ek and Anna Hillbom: Ordinary darkness, splendid light
The participating artists in Ordinary darkness, splendid light share a deep interest in enlightening intrinsic qualities in material and shape, in order to bring out a possible mystic through poetic, tactile means and a personal definition of logic.
In sculpture, installation, video and sound, an urgency to decipher and re-think archaic signifiers, everyday objects and sensory experience becomes evident, as they are arranged in order to make a condition of surplus, enable lines and ruptures in association.
Through methods of play, the aesthetics of a dubious semiotic and ASMR, conditions of the body, object and memory is put to the test.
