Text, airborne between Keflavík and Kastrup. Air temperature -61c, altitude 11269m, groundspeed 894km/h. Air temperature -56c, altitude 11267m, groundspeed 898km/h. Overall descending thin air. Video in the basement bears the same title as the exhibition. Its sequence projecting a sampling of good old Labyrinth and freshly made graveyard. Among the works in "White Suite" the Implicative Man's cousin might show up. Art goers that saw the exhibition Mörk in Listasafn Árnesinga (Threshold in LÁ Art Museum) may remember seeing the Implicative Man staring into open space.
Ólöf studied at the Iceland Academy of the Arts, Reykjavík (2002-2005) and the Slade School of Fine Art, London (2008-2010). "White Suite" will be her third solo exhibition.
